What Midline is

Midline turns structured selections about a therapy session into a written session note. It is a writing tool. It does not provide clinical advice, does not decide what happened in your session, and does not submit anything on your behalf.

You are responsible for every note you sign

Read each note before you use it. You are the clinician of record. Midline checks that every item you selected appears in the note and that nothing you did not select has been added, and it will rewrite a note that fails that check. That check is a safeguard, not a guarantee. Documentation you submit for billing or to a school district is your professional responsibility, exactly as it is when you type it yourself.

Accounts

• One account per person. Do not share sign-in details. Plans sold without a monthly number still carry a fair-use ceiling of 500 notes a month, which is roughly four full-time caseloads and is there to keep one login from covering a practice. If you need several therapists on Midline, tell us and we will sort it out properly.
• You must be a practicing therapist or working under the supervision of one.
• Keep client names out of every field except the client-name box, which stays on your device.

Plans and billing

• Plans are billed monthly or yearly. Yearly is charged twelve months at the price of ten. Either way the note allowance is monthly and resets on the first of each calendar month.
• Rewriting a note you already generated does not count against your allowance.
• No commitment and no minimum term. You can change or cancel at any time, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.

Referrals

If someone signs up with your code and subscribes to a paid plan, we credit a free month to your next invoice. Referring yourself, or creating accounts to collect credit, voids it.

Improving Midline

If you turn on the setting in Settings, we keep the notes you rate so we can see what to fix. We keep the de-identified version, with the placeholder rather than a name. It is off unless you turn it on, and turning it off stops new ones being kept.

Availability

Midline is provided as is. If the model that writes your notes is unavailable, Midline assembles the note from templates instead, so you are never left without one. The wording is flatter, the content is the same.
